Lake County has received the following floodplain development permit application and is accepting comments on the proposal:
LEWIS FAMILY PROPERTY TRUST FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATION
Eric Mulcahy of Sands Surveying, on behalf of the Lewis Family Property Trust has applied for an after-the-fact floodplain development permit for construction within the 100-year floodplain of Swan River. The project includes the construction of a wooden boardwalk and deck secured on concrete piers, consisting of approx. 170 square feet of material within the 100-year floodplain of Swan River. The subject property is legally described as Lot 7 of Swan Landing, a subdivision located in Section 11 of T26N, R19W.

On Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm, the Lake County Board of Commissioners will hold a public meeting in the Office of the Lake County Commissioners, Room 211 of the Lake County Courthouse on the following item:
FRONTIER MANAGEMENT LLC BUILDING FOR LEASE OR RENT REQUEST
Frontier Management LLC represented by Jim Frizzell and doing business as Hidden Harbor Marina, is proposing to construct a new building to be used for “dry stack” boat storage, an office, locker room, automobile parking, and boat maintenance/repair facility. The building will contain 72 dry stack boat slips for lease or rent. The development is proposed to be served by a new onsite well, holding tank and stormwater management system which will require review and approval by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality. The 4.2 acre property is located at 33340 Whitecap Lane in Woods Bay within an unzoned area of Lake County and legally described as Tract 1 of the Amended Plat of Tracts 1 & 2 of Mauzey Tracts and Portions of Government Lots 3 & 4 located within Section 19 of Township 26 North and Range 19 West.

Written comments received by January 21, 2019 will be included in the Board packets. Written and verbal comments are welcome and will be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners, however, comments received after January 21st will be provided to the Commissioners at the meeting, which may not provide sufficient time for review of the comment.
