Class II (Decomposable) Wastes

  • Household waste, garbage, and other biodegradable materials
  • Clothes, books, Small appliances, etc.
  • Dead Animals
  • Small Amounts of Household Hazardous Wastes 
  • Paint, cleansers, pesticides
  • No Liquids

Recyclable Items

  • Used motor oil, anti-freeze, lead batteries, and tires
  • Cardboard, newspaper, mixed residential paper, aluminum and steel cans
  • Plastic bottles
    • Separate your Number 1 and Number 2 milk jugs, remove lids
  • Metal separated and placed in the scrap metal
    • Separate out appliances that had or have Freon

Class III (Inert Landfill Next to Transfer Station) Wastes

  • Untreated, unglued, unpainted wood waste or lumber materials
  • Concrete (without exposed rebar)
  • Rock
  • Brick (unpainted)
  • Brush, tree trimmings, and stumps
