Lake County has received the following floodplain development permit application and is accepting comments on the proposal:

TURCO FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT APPLICATION
Rob Smith of A2Z Engineering, on behalf of Lynda Turco, has applied for a floodplain development permit to replace the foundation of an existing cabin within the 100-year floodplain of Swan Lake. The project includes 30 cubic yards of concrete being used to elevate the cabin by way of constructing a new pier foundation. The subject property is legally described as Unit 7 of Birch Glenn, as shown on Deed Exhibit H-1686, located within Section 14 of T25N, R18W.

The City County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 6:00 pm in the Polson City Hall Council Chambers. Agenda items include:

BIG RAVINE LLC SPECIAL USE PERMIT

Big Ravine LLC, represented by Hans Lund and doing business as John’s Fuel Farm & Energy, Inc., is requesting an after-the-fact special use permit to use the subject property as a private propane storage location for reloading propane delivery trucks and storage of empty tanks. The commercial property is located within the Highway Commercial Zoning District (HCZD) of the Polson City-County Planning Area of the Polson Development Code, and requires a special use permit for all highway-commercial uses. The 1.09-acre property is located on top of the hill south of Polson on South Hills Drive, and is legally described as Tract 1 of Subdivision Plat 206, located within Section 13 of Township 22 North, Range 20 West.

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 4:00 pm, the Lake County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing in the Office of the Lake County Commissioners, Room 211 of the Lake County Courthouse on the following item:


NGUYEN ENTERPRISES INC CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST
Rick Breckenridge of Breckenridge Surveying, on behalf of Nguyen Enterprises, is requesting conditional use approval within the Upper West Shore Zoning District, to allow for the expansion of an existing commercial use. The 7.95-acre parcel is currently developed with an RV Park, restaurant, rental cabin, and associated facilities for the RV Park guests. The expansion would allow the sale of alcohol with meals at the Rollins Restaurant as well as the rental of boats and jet skis to the RV Park guests. The subject property is located at 23705 US HWY 93, Rollins, MT 59931 and is legally described as Tract 1A on COS 6150, located within Section 31, Township 25 North, Range 20 West.

LEGAL NOTICE

The Lake County Planning Board will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the large conference room of the Lake County Courthouse. Agenda items include:

SUBSEQUENT MINOR SUBDIVISION OF TRACT 1 OF SUBDIVISION PLAT 225
Carstens and Associates, on behalf of Bruce L. Basler, have proposed a subsequent minor subdivision to create a three (3) lot subdivision. Lots 1 & 2 will be approximately 5 acres, and used for single-family residential purposes. Lot 3 contains 22.66 acres and is developed with a shop which is used for agricultural purposes. The property is located near Pablo approximately 0.86 miles west of the junction of Montana Highway 93 and Light Road. The division would allow for two additional single-family residential units which would have individual onsite wells and drainfields. The property is legally described as a Tract located in NW¼ of Section 2, Township 21 North, Range 20 West, further shown and described as being Tract 1 on Subdivision Plat No. 225.
