Lake County Election Districts
In Lake County we have:
House districts - 10, 12, 15 & 93
Senate Districts - 5, 6, 8 & 47
Voting Qualifications: U.S. Citizens may become voters for national, state, and local elections if they meet the following:
• Citizen of the United States
• 18 years of age or older - at the time of election
• Resident of the state, county, and precinct - for a minimum of 30 days prior to the election
• Registered to vote
Provisional Voting: Allows individuals to vote using provisional ballots IF they forget their identification or are not listed in the register. The voter has until 5:00 pm the day AFTER the election to resolve identity and/or voter registration issues IF the issues are not resolved by 5:00 pm the day after the election - the ballot will NOT be counted.
Note:
The Election Absentee System (EAS) is for voters covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Absentee Voting Act (UOVACA) ONLY. A user must affirm their eligibility under this Federal Law before using the system, under penalty of perjury.
